Apple vs FBI: The FBI Tries to Save Face


[Update March 22 4:40 pm GMT-8] I have heard from my experts.  They concur with my opinion.  They also pointed out that the FBI may have realized they might lose the court case.  That would set a precedent, but not the one the FBI wanted.  This may simply be a quick-and-easy way out for them.]

This morning brings the news that the FBI has asked for a postponement of a hearing today.  The agency claims they have found an unnamed third party from the private sector that can crack iOS 9.  My offhand reaction: BS.

This is nothing more than the FBI tries to save face. I’ll add to this post after consulting some experts.
