Seven Keyboard Shortcuts for Mac OS X and Safari 2012

Today I discovered seven keyboard shortcuts for Mac OS X and Safari 2012.  It turns out that pressing Command-<number key> (aka Apple Key-<number key>) will automatically open a specific website.  Interestingly, this only works with numbers 1 through 7.  It does not matter whether you use the regular number keys or the numeric keypad. Here’s how the ten keys work on my computer:

Command – 1: Apple home page
Command – 2: Yahoo
Command – 3: Tumblr
Command – 4:  Google maps
Command – 5: YouTube
Command – 6: Wikipedia
Command – 7: Apple help for iWork
